Our New Products Spotlight is The Mighty Bin’s monthly blog series highlighting new products in-store that you can learn and enjoy. This month brings a new plant based protein to The Mighty Bin and more sauces to favor your meals.
Plant Based Fÿsh - SeaCo Catch
SeaCo Catch offers a plant based fÿsh to add a better option for plant based seafood. This one-of-a-kind item is served as the base of SeaCo Catch’s award-winning tacos, recently winning 2021 San Diego’s BEST Taco SD Food & Wine. This fÿsh is organic and gluten free. It is located in our freezer and can be paired with our crinkle fries for a fÿsh and chips dish.
Ingredients: coconut meat, garbanzo flour, rice flour, potato starch, tapioca starch, corn starch, baking powder, baking soda, rice bran oil, salt, and spices.
Peanut Sauce - Wynn’s Kitchen
Wynn’s Kitchen offers us a new product, vegan, gluten free, no added sugar, and keto friendly peanut sauce. You can use this sauce for a dressing to your salads, dipping sauce, or spread it on your favorite protein. We also carry Wynn's Kitchen Saté Asian Chili Sauce on our sauce shelf. Ingredients: Ground Peanuts, Coconut Aminos (Coconut Nectar, Coconut Blossom Sap, Sea Salt), Lime Juice, Sweetener (Erythritol, Monk fruit Powder), Garlic, Ginger, Sunflower Lecithin, Citric Acid.
Dan Dan Sauce - Chinese Laundry Kitchen
Chinese Laundry Kitchen’s is back at The Mighty Bin with its amazing Dan Dan Sauce. Locally made in California by family owned small business, the Dan Dan Sauce is nutty, savory with a hint of sweetness, and packed with umami. Pair it up with noodles, pastas, rice, bread, buns, dumplings, steamed vegetables, tofu, and anything else you would like. This sauce is a health pantry staple for quick and easy meals.
Ingredients: Sesame paste, organic soybean oil (expeller pressed), chili, Sichuan peppercorn, soy sauce (water, soy beans, salt, sugar, corn starch), rice vinegar (water, glutinous rice, wheat bran, sugar, salt), cane sugar
